SW 400 is a high performance heavier duty window suite capable of undertaking a wide variety of large and small commercial projects. Fully drained, either non-thermal or thermally broken, the range has been extensively developed and tested and now includes the following window types:
  • Fixed light
  • Tophung
  • Sidehung / open-out
  • Sidehung / open-in
  • Horizontal pivot
  • Vertical pivot
  • Overswing
  • Tilt-turn
◊ Construction
SW 400 windows are constructed using mitred and mechanically crimped corners with support chevrons and cleats to ensure accurate alignment. Integral transoms and mullions are mechanically fixed and sealed into the outer frames.

◊ Glazing
SW 400 is a drained, dry glazed system utilising captive and wedge gaskets. Single glazing to 6.4mm and double glazing up to 28mm can be installed. All glazing should be in accordance with BS 6262.

◊ Performance
All SW 400 window types have been tested and classified in accordance with BS 6375: Part 1: 1989. Test reports are available from ALURITE Ltd.

◊ Finishes
All ALURITE Senior Window Systems are available in mill finish for final finishing by others. All profiles are available anodised, polyester powder coated and thermally broken to order.
